We’re happy that you’d like to post a comment here, but we ask that you read this before you do.

Since it was created in 2002, Forever Parent’s only goal has been to support parents who’ve adopted and those who want to.  All posts and comments made here, and at our adoption forum need to reflect that or they will not be allowed. There may be some things you read here that you don’t agree with, and it’s fine if we don’t agree. Really, it is. Not everybody has the same thoughts and opinions, but your comment will not be allowed if it doesn’t support what our community is all about. Trust me, we get frustrated and don’t agree with some comments on other blogs and forums also, but it’s like a vegetarian trying to post at a meat eaters site. No matter how much you stamp your feet and call them names, they’re not going to want a tofu hamburger.

So, if you read something here that you don’t agree with, do what I do when I’m in that situation. I step outside for a while, take a nice deep breathe and let it go. All is still right with the world.
