2. I am drawn to other things that start with L. We adopted through Lutheran Family Services. The lady who does my taxes is named Linda LaLxxxx. My kids go to a school that starts with “L.” Even thought I’m right-handed, I prefer the word “left.” Ls are luscious.

3. I hate having my hands dirty or yukky. I wouldn’t mind having them hermetically sealed.

4. I classify colors as “boy” colors (blues, greens, browns, blacks, greys, purples) and “girl” colors (reds, oranges, pinks, yellows, whites). When I was a small child I thought everyone had the same schema , and I was surprised to find they didn’t.

5. I have lived in Japan, Syria, and Spain. I have visited Egypt, Jordan, Oman, France, Germany, Andorra, Lebanon, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Israel, Mexico, Canada, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Costa Rica, and the Bahamas. And I’m not in the military.

6. I have never had a PBJ sandwich.

7. I have kept a daily journal since I was 18. Every day.

8. I proposed to my husband. On a diamond-vision jumbotron screen.

9. The first car I drove was a Rambler Marlin, which my dad later donated to a car museum.

10. I can usually tell the time to within 5 minutes, even without a timepiece.

1. I can’t stand to have wire hangers in my house.
2. I have to sleep with a phone in my bed – not by it but in it.
3. Summer or winter there must be some kind of blanket on the bed.
4. Don’t ever touch my desk. I know where every thing is.
5. I have to use a clean towel everyday.
6. I am a planner – my son’s birhtday is over a month away but I have the cake ordered and paid for as well as the balloons.
7. I have to have calendars in every major room in the house and my purse and car.
8. I can only have matched sheets on all the beds.
9. I can’t turn the water off when I brush my teeth.
10. I am at least 5 minutes early no matter where I go.

1. I, too, have a pen obsession. Have you discovered Rose Art’s pens yet? They are the BEST!!
2. I cannot sleep without a heavy blanket, even in the summer.
3. I cannot sleep if I feel any cool air on my back (hence the need for the blanket).
4. The only color lipstick I own is black.
5. I have one color of clothes hangers that can only be used in my closet. It really bothers me if anyone else in the house uses my hangers.
6. I check my alarm clock exactly three times before going to bed.
7. I carry a sweater or jacket into restaurants all year round because I am always cold.
8. I cannot rest if there are dishes in my sink.
9. The toilet paper roll must feed from the top. I have to resist the urge to “fix” other people’s rolls.
10. I cannot remember to bring food home from a restaurant. I have left an entire pizza sitting on the table. I simply cannot process the transportation of food home from a restaurant.
