A Day At Home

As homeschoolers, we have the freedom to choose what we do with our days (I’ll share my thought on homeschooling and adoption in another post) and sometimes that includes a day spent at home, which can lead us in many different directions. This mix of photos is from various days spent at home sweet home. :)

Dress up is always a hit. Both girls enjoy it, but Shawna really loves to act out scenes from movies or character from shows she’s seen.

Hanging out in the backyard is fun. :) Especially when it’s chilly enough to wear a coat (we live in Florida so wearing anything other than shorts is a big deal for them-lol)

Jacqueline has one of those Bratz heads that she loves doing the hair on…but it’s always more fun to do it on your own sister.

Reading….with Mini (one of our two dogs). :)

  1. Fatcatpaulanne, March 19, 2008:

I love the quote about natural child, real parent.

We are in the process of trying to get approved for foster care.

I have a set of shirts on my cafepress store that say “real mom” and “real dad” and “Yes we are really sisters” etc.
