Hello, I’m back-and thank you so much.First, thank you so very much for all your wishes, condolences and thoughts. They have been a source of strength for me through this very difficult time. I appreciate them more than you could ever know. There were about five comments during July that I haven’t let through yet. With making all the preparations for my mothers service, handling her affairs and trying to get through some very difficult days, I saved them for when I had more time to properly reply to them. So if you posted a comment or question about adoption, please don’t think it was ignored. They’ll be posted within this month. I’ll be blogging part time (2-3 times a week) for August and September. There’s still so much to do and we’re also planning a 10 day trip back to New York City in September to have a memorial service for my mother there (we moved to Florida from NYC in 2002) and the planning is very time consuming. I’ll be back to full time blogging (6-7 days a week) in October. I’d like to suggest that if you are a pre-adoptive or adoptive parent and are looking for support, have questions or just want to connect with others who understand, Forever Parents has a message board that you’re welcome to join. Our adoption forums have been around for several years and you’ll find a bunch of friendly souls there. One more thing before I go…I don’t know if it’s been this way for you, but the blog is loading very slow for me. I think it may be the template so I’ll be changing it as soon as I can. Again, thanks for all your support and messages. If I could give all of you a big hug I would climb through the screen and do it. Related Posts: 4 CommentsLeave a comment |
