Support the Dave Thomas Adoption Foundation-Buy A Frosty!Wendy’s is hosting something called “Father’s Day Frosty Weekend.” On June 16 and 17, participating Wendy’s restaurants across the country will donate a minimum of 50 cents from every Frosty product sold to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which fills a critical gap by funding and supporting full-time foster adoption recruiters in all 50 states. Regular people can help out a great cause just by heading to their local Wendy’s! The goal is to raise $1 million in one weekend to support the work of the DTFA’s signature program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a non-profit public charity dedicated to increasing the adoption of children in North America’s foster care systems. Having been adopted himself, Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas created the Foundation in 1992 to assure that every child has a permanent home and a loving family. So treat yourself to a Frosty this weekend, and help make a difference for the kids who need it most.
