‘Even More’ 15 Fun Things To Do With Your Kids

Here’s part three of ’15 Fun Things to do with your child’. Most of these suggestions were submitted by members of our adoption forums. This series is part of Friday 15. I hope you find some ideas for fun (and mostly free) things you can do with your kids! :)
1) jump rope
2) Make slime
3) Go on nature walks and take pictures of things with the digital camera.
4) Make a texture book of different scraps and remnants around the house.
5) Make your own ‘play-doh’
6) Make a soda geiser
7) Fill a plastic container (under-the-bed box works great, or a plastic shoe-box sized container for a smaller size) with cornmeal. Give them some spoons, bowls, sifters, anything really!
8) Find different objects in the house to ‘make music’ and march around like crazy in your little band. Find things that shake, bang, clank, rattle, etc.
9) Make a masking tape bracelet, sticky side out and go on a nature walk. You and your kids can stick your finds to your bracelet and remove them at home.
10) Make a butterfly garden
11) Visit your local animal rescue center and play with the dogs
12) Make puppets
13) Find a pond and feed the ducks
14) Check out your local home improvment store for kids workshops
15) Make soap or candles.
