The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is close to my heart because my own children came to us through a foster care adoption.

They help bring awareness to foster care adoption through programs such as “Adoption-Friendly Workplace” and their annual television special ‘A Home For the Holidays’ and

…dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 140,000 children in North America’s foster care systems ready and waiting to be adopted.

This foundation, created by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas (who was adopted as a child), has one focus. That “every child will have a permanent home and a loving family”.
